Panopticon 5.9.3 adds new real-time data visualization capabilities for CEP engines and tick databases
Panopticon version 5.9.3 incorporates a number of important new functions that allow banks, hedge funds, mutual funds, and other financial services firms to make even more extensive use of the data visualization capabilities of Panopticon products. The expanded feature set in Panopticon 5.9.3 makes it an even more effective tool for monitoring and reporting P&L, risk and sensitivities for capital markets firms. Traders can build their own analytical dashboards to analyze risk, sensitivities, liquidity, P&L and compliance. Managers can visually analyze market movements, trading activity and exposures.
In this webinar, Panopticon's Peter Simpson explains and demonstrate the key new features in Panopticon 5.9.3. He also shows how to connect to and use data from:
- Thomson Reuters Velocity Analytics
- OneTick from OneMarketData tick databases and CEP engines
- Oracle CEP engines
- Sybase Event Stream Processor (ESP) CEP engines
- Kx Kdb+ tick databases
In addition to the above systems, Panopticon allows users to build dashboards to visualize data from the following CEP engines, real-time streaming message buses, and databases:

The new release also supports these additional functions designed to improve users’ abilities to analyze time series and real-time data:
- Streaming time series windowing enables users to isolate specific time periods for in depth analysis
- Defined numeric axis to allow more detailed analysis of categorical data
- Improved filtering for faster, more intuitive analysis of fast-changing data sets
- New Action controls that enable users to execute functions in external systems based at specific points in time series databases
- Improved query generation for Kx Kdb+ tick databases
