Brian O'Keefe (Panopticon) and Alessandro Alinone (Lightstreamer) explain how you can use our new Enterprise product to display real-time streaming data on web clients.
The latest version of our Enterprise product supports real-time streaming data in web browsers utilizing technology from Lightstreamer. Join our webinar where we will present the Enterprise product and explain how users can visualize their streaming data to enhance their decision-making processes. Co-hosting the webinar will be Alessandro Alinone, CTO, Lightstreamer, who will explain the technical underpinnings of the Lightstreamer technology.
Enterprise is available in .NET and Java versions — each version offers exactly the same set of features and functions! It's an excellent fit for financial services, telecoms, retail, and manufacturing operations that require centralized administration. The software allows you to deploy the system in "fat client" or "zero footprint" configurations and is the only system on the market that supports the display of true real-time streaming data in a web-deployed environment. Enterprise uses standard HTTP to push data to clients and it is a completely secure way to let your users visualize real-time streaming information in their browsers.
In addition to real-time streaming feeds, Enterprise lets you connect to external databases like DB2, Oracle, Sybase, MS Access, SQL Server, and Excel. The integration of relational data with streaming real-time data is a first!
You will learn
- How to display real-time data in a web-deployed environment with excellent security
- How to connect to real-time data sources like Sonic MQ
- How to mash up static data with streaming data
- How to combine real-time streaming and historical data in a useful visualization
- How the Enterprise system can be configured with zero footprint or fat clients
