Panopticon appoints Robert Ekström as new CEO

Stockholm, Sweden, May 4, 2007 – Panopticon Software, the leading provider of visual business intelligence software today announced the appointment of Robert Ekström as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Robert Ekström joins Panopticon after serving as President of Digital Vision AB, listed on the Stockholm stock exchange and a leading developer of advanced digital media applications specialising in film and video solutions. Prior to Digital Vision, Ekström was CEO of Popwire Technology AB, co-owned by Swedish financial giant Investor and telecommunications equipment manufacturer Ericsson. Ekström has also held senior management positions at Microsoft, NCR, and Digital Equipment as well as at numerous successful start-ups.

Willem De Geer, the majority shareholder of Panopticon and previous CEO, will take on the role as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
