Panopticon Expands Sales Team to Support Increased Market Demand

— Information Visualization is becoming increasingly important
in financial, telecoms and other sectors as firms seek to
improve operational decision-making —

Stockholm, Sweden, January 22, 2008 - Panopticon Software, the leading provider of visual business intelligence software, today announced that it has added four software industry veterans to its sales team in order to support increased demand for its visualization products. The company sells its software directly to financial services companies and to customers in telecoms, retail, and other vertical markets through OEM partners.

 

  • Debra Leibowitz has joined in the capacity of OEM Sales Director and will be working out of the company's New York office. Leibowitz has more than 25 years' experience working with senior level executives in the software industry to help them solve significant business problems, improve business efficiency and achieve operational excellence by leveraging various technologies including document/content management, transaction analysis, and business process reengineering solutions. She joins Panopticon from ACL Services Ltd.
  • Keith Davies has joined the company as Sales Manager for the Nordic Region and is based in the company's Stockholm facility. Prior to joining Panopticon, Davies was with Thomson Financial where he ran Thomson's account management team and was responsible for data feed sales in the Nordic and Baltic regions. Before joining Thomson in 2000, Davies was Manager for Derivatives Content Group and a Market Analyst at Primark in London. Keith brings with him an in-depth understanding of how financial institutions use software tools as well as personal connections with decision makers within the largest investment houses in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Norway.
  • Ross Brown is Panopticon's new Financial Services Sales Director in our New York office. Before joining Panopticon, he was with Heartbeat Software, where he established and grew the financial services practice throughout North America and Europe. He has over twelve year's experience in new business development for financial services software.
  • Daljit Saund has joined our London team as Financial Services Sales Director in our London office. Daljit Saund is a highly accomplished sales and marketing professional with a proven success record spanning over 20 years in the financial software sector, including 10 years with SunGard. Daljit comes to Panopticon from Interwoven, where he served as their Key Accounts Manager, EMEA. He is a specialist in derivatives and risk management and has broad knowledge of the entire trade cycle across the full spectrum of asset classes, including both business and IT expertise. Daljit has chaired conferences for Futures & Options World and been featured in industry journals such as Risk magazine.
