London Office

Senior Sales Executive

We have an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales executive in our London office. You will work with the rest of our team to develop new business with financial services institutions in the UK and Europe. You will identify prospects, cultivate effective working relationships with decision-makers, and present our solutions and technologies to senior business and IT people.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the operations and priorities for investment banks, brokerages and hedge funds required. Previous experience selling enterprise software to financial institutions is a major plus.

You will work out of our offices in Tower 42 in the City of London. Some travel required.

Consultant

Panopticon Software is looking for a service minded technical software consultant with a dual competence profile in software development and financial services experience.

Java development skills with experience from Java application servers such as IBM Websphere and BEA Weblogic. Valued experience is integration of functionality into existing systems using SDKs (component libraries) and projects involving data connection.

.NET development skills, preferable using C#. Experience from using Microsoft Internet Information Server for web deployed applications. Valued experience is integration of functionality into existing systems using SDKs (component libraries) and projects involving data connection.

In addition, there is a requirement for experience from working with enterprise grade databases, excellent SQL knowledge, and ability to advice database administrators about how to consolidate and aggregate data from different tables and repositories. At least 3 years of work experience in a professional services function. Industry experience from Financial Services with a good understanding of FS operations and business, in order to be able to create value adding solutions and help clients develop their business operations. Other desired or valued experience: work with streaming data sources, business intelligence systems, graphic visualization of data. Particular advantages in addition to the above would be good Linux/Unix experience in combination with Oracle experience.

Senior Developer

We are looking for a creative and experienced developer to join our R&D team in Stockholm, Sweden. The successful candidate has a broad and deep knowledge of software engineering, with the capacity and skill to design SDKs and APIs, to architect enterprise solutions and to develop humane user interfaces in rich and thin client-side applications. Working experience from multiple platforms using Java and Microsoft .NET technologies is required. Background in visualization or interactive graphics preferable, as well as a strong background in databases and query languages (relational and multidimensional).

Panopticon Software is looking for a support technician for the main office in Stockholm. The successful candidate will be responsible of internal IT management and IT support at the office, and also work partly with support to customers via email and telephone.

Consultant in Visual Business Intelligence software

Panopticon Software is looking for a consultant to be based in the Stockholm office. You will work with product customizations, do system implementations and solve complex support issues. You must fulfill at least one of the following two criteria, preferably both:

• Developer skills in Java with experience from Java Application Servers such as for example IBM Websphere and BEA Weblogic. Experience from working with component libraries (SDK:s). Experience from data management projects. Knowledge in developing JSP applications.
• Developer skills in .NET, preferably using C#. Experience from working with Microsoft Internet Information Server for web based applications. Experience from working with component libraries (SDK:s). Experience from data management projects Knowledge in developing ASPX applications.

Further, you need experience from working with database servers such as for example MS SQL Server and Oracle. You need excellent SQL skills on a level where you can function as a problem solver and provide advice to DBA:s in the client organizations in questions regarding query optimization as well as consolidation and aggregation of data from different data sources.
You should have at least 3 years of experience from working in professional services function or similar. You need knowledge and understanding about the business operations of the financial services industry and the information needs therein, in order to be able t to create value adding improvements of processes and information usage.
