Position: Consultant
Location: New York City
Panopticon is looking to hire a talented individual who can add to our consultancy resources within our New York team, and support sales to top tier financial markets clients of both our packaged application (Panopticon EX) and our SDKs (Panopticon Developer).
This will include both work at the client’s site, at partner sites and via telephone, web meeting and email.
The role will report to the SVP Research & Development (based in London), but will also require close working relationship with staff in New York, Boston, London, and the development team in Stockholm.
Responsibilities include:
- Pre-Sales
- Presentations to prospects for the SDK and the Panopticon EX enterprise application
- Take part in workshops for Panopticon EX
- Design interactive dashboards based on data supplied by customers
- Answer technical & business implementation questions
- Post-Sales
- Support installations
- Gather enhancement requests from clients
- Track client issues through resolution
- Test resolutions for client issues
- Test new versions prior to release
Qualifications:
- US citizenship or permanent residency status
- High degree of fluency in spoken and written English
- Excellent communication skills
- Located in New York
- Ability to run and explain SDK code examples in both .NET (Visual Studio) and Java (NetBeans/Eclipse). Requies basic programming skills in Java and/or .NET
- Experience with data manipulation and analysis in a Business Intelligence system, database and/or Excel.
- Good presentation skills and time management
- Prior pre-sales experience in the software industry, especially Business Intelligence or data analysis tools.
- Understanding of and interest in financial markets.
