Position: Technical Consultant

Location:  New York City

Panopticon is looking to hire a talented individual who can add to our technical consultancy resources within our New York team, and support sales to top tier capital markets clients. This will include both work at the client's site, at partner sites and via telephone, web meeting and email. The role will report to the SVP Research & Development (based in London) and will also require a close working relationship with staff in New York, Boston, San Francisco, London, and the development team in Stockholm.

The role will involve working with Panopticon software products along with CEP engines such as Streambase, Sybase Aleri/ESP, Oracle CEP, Tick History databases such as kx, OneTick, and Velocity Analytics, message buses, web services and relational databases such as Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Pre-Sales
• Presentations to prospects
• Take part in workshops and proof of concepts
• Design interactive dashboards based on data supplied by customers
• Answer technical & business implementation questions
• Support client installations
• Gather enhancement requests from clients
• Track client issues through resolution

Qualifications:

• US citizenship or permanent residency status
• High degree of fluency in spoken and written English
• Excellent communication skills
• Located in New York
• Experience with data manipulation and analysis
• Good presentation skills and time management

Position: Risk/Trading Consultant

Location: New York City

Panopticon is looking to hire a talented individual who can add to our business consultancy resources within our New York team, and support sales to front and mid office areas of top tier capital markets clients of both our data visualization applications. This will include both work at the client's site, at partner sites and remotely. The role will report to the SVP Research & Development (based in London) and will also require close working relationship with staff in New York, Boston, San Francisco and London.

The role will cover the following front office use cases typically involving research, sales, trading and risk.

• Instrument Screening
• Market Monitoring
• Sentiment Analysis
• Pre-Trade Analytics
• Trade/Algo Monitoring
• P&L and Limit Monitoring
• Post Trade Analysis / TCA
• Client Profitability Analysis
• Market Risk Monitoring
• Credit/Counterparty Risk Monitoring
• Latency Monitoring
• Performance, Risk and Attribution Analysis

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• Prior pre-sales experience in the software industry, especially Business Intelligence or data analysis tools
